General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a unified regulation that is designed to harmonize data privacy laws throughout Europe. This new regulation offers citizens in the European Union (EU) greater transparency and controls over how their personal data is used by others. We generally feel this is a good idea and will use this for all other regions in the world as well.
What is personal data: Any data that relates to a Subject (i.e. an individual), that either is identified or can be identified based on that or other data. The only personal information stored is if you have bought something or signed up for something like an email list.
